The N.I.V. Bible versus al Qaeda
Al Qaeda’s other name is the “World Islamic front for jihad Against Jews and Crusaders.” Therefore the appropriate response of Jews and Christians should be that of Psalms 108;13 “With God we will gain the victory, and He will trample down our enemies.” Even it could be that of Psalms 140;1,2 “Rescue me, O Lord from evil men; protect me from men of violence. Who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day.” Also it is written in Proverbs 24;19,20. “Do not fret because of evil men …for the evil man has no future hope…” The only “future hope” of the mujahideen “martyr with his 72 virgins in a paradise” has is a false one. This is best explained in 2 Timothy 4;3,4. “For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn aside to myths.”
